This R.E.D. Friday, we honor Staff Sgt. Krystine H.A. Ramos of the U.S. Air Force for her service as Officer in Charge of Combat Crew Communications with the 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. She delivered classified documents and encrypted wartime codes that protected C-17 crews executing critical airdrop missions during Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Across 12 years of service, she exemplified precision, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to those she supported.
