This R.E.D. Friday, we honor Corporal William “Kyle” Carpenter, a Marine with Company F, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines, who was serving in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, on November 21, 2010. For this extraordinary courage, he received the Medal of Honor from President Barack Obama on June 19, 2014, becoming the youngest living recipient.
