This R.E.D. Friday, we remember the nineteen members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, an elite firefighting crew from the City of Prescott, Arizona, who gave their lives battling the Yarnell Hill Fire on June 30, 2013.

Sparked by lightning just two days earlier, the fire rapidly intensified-yet these brave men stood their ground, protecting the lives and homes of others.

Their sacrifice marks the deadliest wildfire in Arizona's history. Their legacy lives on in every act of service and every life saved.
