Today, we honor Brigadier General Quintino J. Serenati. Serenati, born in 1912 in Italy, was a distinguished U.S. Air Force medical commander. After earning his medical degree, he served in key surgical and command roles in both the Army and Air Force. Promoted to brigadier general in 1969, his honors include the Legion of Merit, the Air Force Commendation Medal, and the Army Commendation Medal.
