Honoring Chief Petty Officer Nate Hardy of the U.S. Navy
This R.E.D. Friday, we honor Chief Petty Officer Nate Hardy of the U.S. Navy, who was killed in action on February 4, 2008, during combat operations in Iraq. A Navy SEAL on his fourth deployment, Hardy lived out his lifelong dream of serving at the highest level of the military. He is remembered not only for his courage and commitment, but for the life and family he left behind — his wife, Mindi, and his infant son, Parker. Chief Hardy’s legacy endures as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our service members and their families in the defense of our freedom.
