Today, we honor Colonel Ruby Bradley, one of the most decorated women in U.S. military history. A veteran of both World War II and the Korean War, she served as a U.S. Army Nurse Corps officer. During World War II, she was captured and held as a prisoner of war in the Philippines for over three years, where she provided medical care under dire conditions. Her resilience and dedication earned her numerous accolades, including two Legion of Merit medals and two Bronze Stars.
