Today, we honor Corporal Birdie Pearse. She was born and raised in Chatanooga Tennessee. Joining the USMC at the young age of 18, she became the first Marine of her predominately Air Force family...”Oorah”! She is currently stationed in Yuma, AZ and recently returned from a deployment in Iwakuni, Japan serving as a United States Marine Corps Aircraft rescue and firefighter.
