Honoring U.S. Army Sgt. First Class Alwyn Cashe
This R.E.D. Friday, we honor Alwyn Cashe of the U.S. Army for his extraordinary gallantry in Iraq on October 17, 2005.
After his vehicle was struck by an IED and engulfed in flames, Cashe repeatedly entered the burning wreckage to rescue fellow soldiers — actions that earned him the Medal of Honor.
Even today, his legacy lives on as a powerful example of selfless leadership, bravery, and unwavering commitment to others.
