We’ve been here before—but never at Muster.
HEW Fitness returns to the Navy SEAL Museum for an all-new Fitness Challenge featuring four-person teams, beach, grit, and teamwork.
For the first time, this unique team experience will take place during Muster on the historic coastline where the predecessors of today’s Navy SEALs once trained.
Gather your crew. Choose your hard. Answer the challenge.
Four Teammates. One Unforgettable event.
The Navy SEAL Museum Fitness Challenge is a 60-to-90-minute team experience beginning and ending on the Museum’s north lawn near the Mark V Special Operations Craft.
Teams may include any combination of men and women. Along the way, participants can expect:
Sandbags
Medicine balls
Pull-ups
Push-ups

A few surprises
The first heat begins at 9:00 AM, with start times continuing through 11:40 AM. Specific course details will be released on Friday, October 16.
Every station will include options for different fitness levels. This event is designed to challenge you—not exclude you.
You choose your hard. Your team takes it on together.
See the Challenge in Action
HEW Fitness has challenged this ground before.
In 2017, HEW athletes came together at the Navy SEAL Museum for the Trident Challenge—an unforgettable test of fitness, determination, and teamwork.
Watch the 2017 Fitness Challenge
The 2026 course will feature new stations and surprises, but the spirit remains the same: show up for your teammates, embrace the challenge, and keep moving until you finish together.
Built for Challenge. Created for Fun.
You do not need to be an elite athlete to participate.
The Fitness Challenge is about testing yourself, working as a team, and experiencing a brand-new challenge during one of the Navy SEAL Museum’s most meaningful annual traditions.
There will be no podiums and no awards—only the pride and acknowledgment that come with completing the mission together.
Participants should have a basic level of familiarity with:
Push-ups in any form
Sit-ups
Light weighted walking lunges
Kettlebell swings
Wall ball shots
Running or walking
Pull-ups, with a band or box available for scaling
Swimming, required for two members of each team
Bring your grit, a willingness to work, and teammates who will keep moving when the course gets tough.
Where Naval Special Warfare Began
The Navy SEAL Museum stands along the Fort Pierce coastline where tightly knit groups of men once trained for war.
Before carrying their skills, courage, and determination to the beaches of Normandy and battlefields around the world, the predecessors of today’s Navy SEALs prepared here with one goal in mind: win at any cost.
They cleared the way for others to follow, driven by devotion to their teammates and their country. Their actions established standards against which military Special Operations continue to be measured.
Today’s Navy SEALs carry that legacy forward, keeping constant vigil around the globe in defense of our freedom.
The Fitness Challenge offers participants a rare opportunity to honor that history through action—on the same coastline where it began.
Show your patriotic spirit by wearing your favorite red, white, and blue athletic gear in honor and support of our veterans.
